Yoooo! I finally found the solution! Thanks to Steam Support! The issue was the Steam was continously trying to claim the input from the controller so that you could navigate the steam library and/or big picture mode with it. Or a way to make steam unrecognize my controller and let rocket league itself recognize it and not steam, that way the controller's LED doesn't change colors and the buttons work in-game Is there a way to either, make the air roll left and right binding work. unbinding my R1 and L1 from all other options (even tried binding air roll left or right to other buttons and still didn't work) All to no prevail. I've checked and unchecked "Configuration Support". I've tried resetting my steam, resetting my pc, my drivers, my controller through the back hole. I see that I'm not the only one with the issue, but all the answers I've found do not work. If I disable it, there's no input whatsoever but when I enable it my steam has some new UI and changing keybinds brings me to a whole new section.Īfter enabling "steam input" my controls work, all except for two very important binds, AIR ROLL RIGHT and AIR ROLL LEFT. I've searched for a long time, and found out that it has to do with 'Steam input'. My controller gave no input into the game. Ever since, I couldn't use my controller on Rocket League.
Today it lit up white and when I opened up steam it changed colors (light blue). Normally when I connect my controller to my pc (via bth) it lights up white. So I've been playing rocket league with my PS4 controller (using bluetooth) for over 3 years now.
